The City Council of the City of Sealy, Austin County, Texas, at the above-described dates, times, and location, may conduct a public meeting where it may consider approving a proposed tax abatement agreement concerning the below property owner(s) / applicant(s).

The “Sealy Hendrix Tax Abatement Reinvestment Zone #1” is located at the real property identified by Austin County Appraisal District Parcel IDs 50886 and 80945 as depicted below:

General description of the nature of the improvements included in the agreement:

 

Hendrix Industries, Inc. proposes to construct a new 139,000+ square foot facility to manufacture and sell stone-like material (fabricated quartz) slabs and countertops in the City of Sealy, Texas.

 

Estimated cost of the improvements:  

 

Proposed investment of approximately $20M in real property and approximately $22M in personal property improvements (facility equipment).
