Payment options available to utility customers 24/7

The City of Sealy offers the convenience of accepting utility payments 24 hours a day/7 days a week via the following payment systems:

  • Customers may pay by credit card over the Internet by means of the City's website. From the homepage, simply click on the "Pay Your Bill Online" link along the left-hand side of the page. You may also access the payment site from the "Online Services" link on the navigational menu toward the top of any page on our website. (Besides paying your utility bill, the Online Services page contains an array of other public services and information for your use and review.) Please ntoe that the credit card processor will charge an additional processing fee of 3.5% of the transaction amount or a minimum charge of $0.95, whichever is larger. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express are all acceptable forms of payment.
  • Customers can now pay their utility bills by credit card over the phone by calling the City of Sealy Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system at (979) 200-4748. Please note that the credit card processor will charge an additional processing fee of 3.5% of the transaction amount or a minimum charge of $0.95, whichever is larger. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express are all acceptable forms of payment.
  • Utility customers may also use the new payment kiosk located on the west side of City Hall, 415 Main Street. The machine accepts currency (not coins), checks, and credit cards as payment and will issue the customer a time- and date-stamped paper receipt. For credit card payments, please note that the credit card processor will charge an additional processing fee of 3.5% of the transaction amount or a minimum charge of $0.95, whichever is larger. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express are all acceptable forms of payment.

Each month, you'll continue to receive a paper utility bill in the mail for review. On the due date of the bill, we'll draft your bank account for the amount due. All you have to do is make sure funds are available in your account on the due date and that your banking information has not changed without notifying us. And best of all, this is a free service! To sign up, visit one of the cashiers at City Hall, complete an authorization form, and present a voided check from the bank account that is to be drafted.
