Payment Options

Payment Options


Be advised that paying your ticket online or over the phone counts as an automatic plea of no contest and will result in a conviction and forfeiture for any compliance dismissal or driver safety course request.

The court accepts multiple payment types and provides different payment methods and options to fit your individual need.  Be sure to read carefully through the following options for payment.  If you are experiencing difficulties paying online it is your responsibility to contact the Municipal Court to ensure your citation is taken care of in a timely manner.

Payment In Full:  You may pay your violation in full.  DO NOT pay in full if your intention is to request a driver safety course. There are no refunds.  Payment will close your case and no further action will be required.  Payments can be made:

  • In Person - You may pay in cash, money order, cashier's check, credit or debit.   No personal or company checks are accepted. Credit/Debit will have service fees applicable. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Office is closed on Holidays.
  • By Phone – Call, The Payment Group at 1-800-444-1187, Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.  Se habla Español.
  • By Mail – Enter a plea and mail in along with your payment in the form of money order/cashier check payable to: Sealy Municipal Court.  DO NOT SEND CASH. No personal or company checks are accepted. They will be returned.
  • Online – thru  Traffic Payment Logo Small

30 Day Extension Request:  You may request a 30-day extension to make a payment in full with no additional fees added.  You will need to enter a plea along with a payment plan application (Adobe Acrobat Reader HERE )with your extension request.  A minimum down payment of $50.00 will need to be filed with application.  The court will provide you with a due date and payment instructions. Any case not paid in full within 30 days will have a mandated $15.00 time payment reimbursement fee added to it. Payments can be made:

  • In Person - You may pay in cash, money order, cashier's check, credit or debit.   No personal or company checks are accepted. Credit/Debit will have service fees applicable. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Office is closed on Holidays.
  • By Phone – Not available.
  • By Mail – Enter a plea and mail in along with your payment in the form of money order/cashier check payable to: Sealy Municipal Court.  DO NOT SEND CASH. No personal or company checks are accepted. They will be returned.
  • Online – Not available.

Payment Plan Schedule Request:  You may require more than an a 30-day extension to take care of your obligation with the court.  You will need to file a payment plan application (Adobe Acrobat Reader HERE ) along with a down payment of $100.00 with your payment plan request.  Each case will have a mandated $15.00 time payment reimbursement fee added.  The court will provide you with a payment schedule and payment instructions for future payments. Payments can be made:

  • In Person - You may pay in cash, money order, cashier's check, credit or debit.   No personal or company checks are accepted. Credit/Debit will have service fees applicable. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Office is closed on Holidays.
  • By Phone – Not available.
  • By Mail – Enter a plea and mail in along with your payment in the form of money order/cashier check payable to: Sealy Municipal Court.  DO NOT SEND CASH. No personal or company checks are accepted. They will be returned.
  • Online – Not available.

Existing Payment Plan Schedules:  If you have already set up a payment plan with the court, scheduled payments to your current payment plan may be processed ONLY via the following methods.

  • In Person - You may pay in cash, money order, cashier's check, credit or debit.   No personal or company checks are accepted. Credit/Debit will have service fees applicable. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Office is closed on Holidays.

Community Service:  You may not be able to afford to make monetary payments to the court.  In this instance, you may request to perform community service at a rate of $12.50 per hour at an authorized location.  You will need to enter a plea along with a payment plan application (Adobe Acrobat Reader HERE ) and indicate you are requesting community service in the comments section.  If approved, the court will provide you with a court order and further instructions.

Time Served:  You may be able to receive time served credit towards your outstanding violation.  If you were sentenced and served time at any facility after the date of the violation in question, you may file a motion for time served request with the court.  Proof of incarceration and sentencing order will be required along with the request.  Please note that time awaiting bail does not count as time served.  After verification and approval, the court will grant $150.00 per day incarcerated towards your outstanding balance.  This will not include any fees owed to Omnibase FTA Program.  You will be required to pay the $30.00 or $10.00 fee directly to the court.

If you wish to plea Not Guilty, do NOT make payment of your fine. Submit the Not Guilty Plea Form to the court by mail, fax, or E-mail at villagomez@ci.sealy.tx.us  along with a copy of your driver license and phone number.

NOTICE:  All credit/debit payments are applicable to a service fee.  You may avoid this additional cost by paying with cash, money order, or cashier check.  We DO NOT accept personal or company checks.  Do no mail one in because it will be returned.  This may delay filing and affect your options.

JUVENILES:
All juveniles are required to appear in open court for all proceedings in their case(s). The parent of any juvenile charged in municipal court is required to be present in court with his or her child.
