If you have an ARREST warrant and would like a new court date, you must file a written not guilty plea with a copy of identification.  Upon receipt, the court will set you on the next available pre-trial docket to speak with the prosecutor.  The ARREST warrant will be lifted.  Failure to appear for your court date will result in a warrant and additional fees added.  Subsequent court dates will require a $500 bond for each case pending. You can mail cash bond(s) to Sealy Municipal Court, P.O. Box 517, Sealy TX 77474.  You may contact the court for the next available pre-trial court date, however, the court cannot assist you in filling out the bond.  If you feel that you need legal advice, please retain an attorney for further assistance.

If you have a CAPIAS PRO FINE warrant and would like to reinstate your payment plan, you must fill out a payment plan application and send in to the court with $200.00 down payment.  If eligible, this will pull the warrant(s) and set up a new payment schedule.

If you have a CAPIAS PRO FINE warrant and would like a new court date, you must file a written request with a copy of identification.  Upon receipt, the court will set you on the next available RECONSIDERATION Docket to speak with the judge pertaining your default in previous payments.  Warrants will be lifted upon scheduling of new docket date, however, any hold on your driver license will remain.  Please note that warrants will be re-issued with additional warrant fees should you fail to appear as scheduled or fail to contact the court.  It is our goal to assist you with your current situation and process your case accordingly.  Be sure to stay in contact in order to avoid escalating fees.  Thank you.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  THIS COURT OFFERS YOU A “SAFE HARBOR” TO TURN YOURSELF IN ON CLASS C WARRANTS ISSUED BY THIS COURT: In order to promote justice, ensure due process and the equal treatment of all persons, some of whom may be indigent or facing financial hardships, and to help clear outstanding arrest warrants and capiases, this court has a policy that it will not arrest or jail any person who voluntarily surrenders herself/himself to this court on warrants issued by our court, if you make a good-faith effort to resolve the case before you are arrested and the warrant is executed.
