Citizen Collection Station
The “citizen collection station” (formerly referred to as the “transfer station”) is located at 1097 Downey Road in Sealy. This facility is operated by Texas Disposal Systems (TDS) and is a collection site for refuse materials that cannot be gathered via conventional methods. All collected solid waste is periodically transported to a landfill in another locality.

Customers must show identification and a copy of their City utility bill to receive lower rates as citizens.

- From downtown Sealy, go east on Main Street.
- Turn left on Daniels Street.
- Turn right on San Felipe Road.
- Take slight left onto Garland Street.
- Turn left on Downey Road. Facility will be on left-hand side of road.
