Residential Trash Services Guide

The city provides more solid waste services for residential customers than just weekly trash pickup.  The information below will guide you to details on bulk trash collection, yard waste disposal, taking your trash to the citizen collection station and scheduling reminders using the Waste Wizard app.

Residential Recycling & Trash Service - information regarding trash service, recycling week, additional carts, missed pick-up, and holidays.

Yard Waste Disposal Services - information regarding wood chipping, heavy limb pick-up, and leaf/grass clippings pick-up.

Bulky Trash Collection occurs on each resident's last pick-up day of every month.  Bulky trash is considered anything that will not fit in the cart.  For example, this includes, but is not limited to, sofas, washers, dryers, mattresses, chairs, etc.

Citizen Collection Station (Transfer Station) - information regarding the transfer station located at 1097 Downey Road in Sealy.

Waste Wizard uses your address to show you your collection dates and can even be configured to send you text, email or phone reminders so you never forget to put out your trash or recycling.
